Mosagallaku Mosagadu 

(159 minutes) is a 1971 Indian Telugu-
language Western action film directed by K. S. R. Das from a screenplay written
by  Aarudra . The film features Krishna,  Vijaya Nirmala ,  Nagabhushanam ,  Kaikala
Satyanarayana ,  Gummadi ,  Dhulipala , M. Prabhakar Reddy, and  Jyothi Lakshmi  in
prominent roles. It is produced by G. Adiseshagiri Rao under the banner of Sri
Padmalaya Films.Inspired from Western films such as For a Few Dollars More (1965), The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), and  Mackenna's Gold  (1969), the story is set in the eighteenth century, in the anarchy prevailing after the Battle of Bobbili (1757). It revolves around finding the lost treasure belonging to the Amaraveedu dynasty. Principal photography of the film took place in Rajasthan, while a song sequence was shot in Himachal Pradesh. Released on 27 August 1971, the film was a commercial success and ran for 100 days.

Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy (31 May 1943 – 15 November 2022),
known  mononymously  as Krishna, was an Indian actor, director and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. In a film career spanning five decades,he starred in more than 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as "Superstar" in the Telugu media. In 2009, the government of India honoured him with the  Padma Bhushan  for his contributions to Indian cinema. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Congress party in 1989. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South in addition to Honorary doctorate from Andhra University in 2008. He died on 15 November 2022 due to cardiac arrest.

Thatha – Manavadu

 (177 minutes) is a 1973 Indian Telugu-language film written and
directed by  Dasari Narayana Rao  in his debut. Thatha-Manavadu featured Raja Babu,
who had mostly acted in comic and supporting roles until then, as a lead actor. He is
paired with actress  Vijaya Nirmala . Starring Kaikala Satyanarayana, S.V Ranga Rao,
Raja Babu, Anjali Devi, Vijaya Nirmala, Rajasulochana, etc.

The film was released on 23 March 1973. It ran for 25 weeks in theatres. The film won
the Nandi Award for Second Best Feature Film. It was later remade in Kannada
as  Maga Mommaga  (1974) and in Hindi as Suntan (1976).

KAIKALA SATYANARAYANA He appeared in over 750 films and served as the Member of Parliament in the 11th Lok Sabha representing  Machilipatnam  constituency from Telugu Desam Party. He was the recipient of the 2011  Raghupathi Venkaiah Award , and 2017 Filmfare Award for lifetime achievement in Telugu cinema.
Kaikala Satyanarayana was born on 25 July 1935 to Kaikala Laxmi Narayana from
Kavutaram village in Krishna district. He died on 23 December 2022, at the age of 87.
